Eldridge Street Museum, NYC
Client: Potion Design
Potion Design's national award-winning interactive exhibit at the Eldridge Street Museum in New York's Lower East Side neighborhood enables visitors to explore the history of the Lower East side and the role the Eldridge Street Synagogue played in the community.
I produced all 3D assets for the exhibit, which included a 3D model of the synagogue's facade and interior derived from period photographs and site measurements, and a model of the entire Lower East Side (close to 3000 buildings), with 10 "hero" buildings museumgoers could visit and the remainder procedurally generated (with LODs) from a kit of parts using a custom MAXScript.
